Announcement on Changes to the Season Concert on January 10th, 2016


我们抱歉地通知观众,由于第十五届柴可夫斯基国际音乐比赛以及艺术家档期的缘故,定于2016年1月10日举行的音乐季演出“第十五届柴可夫斯基国际音乐比赛获奖者音乐会”将在独奏家及曲目上作出调整,大提琴铜奖得主亚历山大·布兹洛夫无法按原计划出席,获得本届赛事钢琴项目铜奖的丹尼尔·哈里托诺夫将顶替他担任本场音乐会的独奏家之一。

We hereby regrettably announce to our audience that due to the reasons with the XV Tchaikovsky International Competition as well as the artists’ schedule, we are forced to make adjustments on the soloists and program of A Concert Featuring the Prize Winners of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition which is scheduled on January 10th, 2016. Cellist Alexander Buzlov (3rd Prize, cello) is impossble to attend this concert and pianist Daniel Kharitonov (3rd Prize, piano) is pleased to substitute as one of the soloists of the concert.


除此之外,本届比赛的声乐金奖得主阿伦巴特尔·甘巴特尔、声乐银奖得主王传越、小提琴铜奖得主亚历珊德拉·科努诺娃也将在这场音乐会中登台,与米沙·达迈夫指挥的中国爱乐乐团合作。

Other prize winners including Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar (1st Prize, voice), Wang Chuanyue (2nd Prize, voice) and Alexandra Conunova (3rd Prize, violin) will also appear on stage with China Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Mischa Damev.

Mischa Damev, conductor

Multi-talented Mischa Damev is of Franco-Bulgarian descent, and was born in Sofia.  He received his first music lessons from his grandfather Michael Lefterov, a famous Bulgarian conductor. When he was ten his family moved to Switzerland. In 1986 he completed his piano studies at the Musikhochschule in Basel with a soloist diploma and then studied with Alexis Weissenberg in Paris and Nikita Magaloff in Geneva. 


From 1990 to 1999 he was artistic director of the Orpheum International Festival for Young Soloists in Zurich. Between 1992 and 2007 he led the Swiss Lilienberg recital series and the Lilienberg Foundation Art & Culture Division. In 2000 he was appointed Trustee of the London International Master Prize Competition for Contemporary Symphonic Music. 

On the advice of his mentor, Mariss Jansons, in 1991 he switched from his career as a concert pianist to study conducting intensively in Vienna with the legedary Prof. Karl Österreicher.  After his successful debut with the Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio and the Opera House in Sofia he spent several years working as assistant to  Georges Prêtre and Vladimir Fedosseyev. 

Mischa Damev has conducted orchestras such as the Moscow Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra (Permanent Guest Conductor since 1996), Russian National Orchestra, Mariinsky Orchestra, Orchestra di San Carlo di Napoli, Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, Orchestra della Fondazione Arturo Toscanini, the Beijing Symphony Orchestra, the Slovak Philharmonic Bratislava, Bulgarian National Orchestra, the Tonkünstler Orchestra Vienna, Orchestra di Santa Cecilia Roma,  Orchestra del Teatro della Fenice, Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, the Latvian National Orchestra, and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Scala di Milano etc.

Mischa Damev has recorded with Decca, as well as participating in numerous radio and television productions for Swiss television and Bulgarian and Russian radio and today is a successful record producer (Musiques Suisses). 

In the 2004/2005 season he shared the podium with Georges Prêtre  in the production of Carmen at Santa Cecilia in Rome and Pelleas and Melisande at La Scala di Milano. Since 2006  Mischa Damev and composer Jon Lord (of the rock group Deep Purple) have enjoyed a close cooperation on many European stages. Since 2011 Damev conducts regularly in China.

亚历山德拉在这一演出季中先后在法国广播音乐节、普罗旺斯艾克斯复活节音乐节、Schloss Elmau音乐节、韦尔比亚音乐节等亮相。她还将与伯尔尼室内乐团(Camerata Bern)、德国埃尔福特爱乐乐团、NDR广播爱乐以及莫斯科独奏家乐团合作。2016年,她将进行日本巡演。

Alexandra Conunova, Moldova

Alexandra Conunova attracted public and critical acclaim when she won First Prize at the Joseph Joachim Violin Competition in Hanover in the autumn 2012. She was praised by the jury for her vivid tone and her highly virtuoso dramatic art and Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung wrote that she “shows with what radiance of tone she is able to endow her music-making. Her interpretations of Bach’s baroque dances are sometimes austere and yet wonderfully cantabile, at other times truly dance-like or – as in the Bourrée – with a high degree of virtuosity.”

Alexandra’s current season include concerts at the Radio France Festival, Festival de Pâques, Schloss Elmau, Verbier Festival and others. She will perform with the Camerata Bern, the Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra, the NDR Radio Philharmonic and the Moscow Soloists. She will also tour in Japan in 2016.

Alexandra has won major prizes at competitions such as the 2015 Singapore International Violin Competition, the 2011 George Enescu International Violin Competition as well as at Tibor Varga (2010), Ion Voicu (2009) and Henri Marteau (2008). Alexandra was awarded the Julius Bär Prize for the most accomplished artist of the Verbier Festival Academy 2013. This prize also includes a solo recital in the official programme of the Verbier Festival 2015.

She has established herself as a soloist of a high level. She has performed with orchestras such as the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, Hungarian State Opera, Hermitage Orchestra St-Petersburg, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Moscow Soloists, NDR Radio Philharmonic, Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Saarbrücken Symphony Orchestra, Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and Wuhan Symphony Orchestra. She has collaborated with conductors including Christian Badea, Yury Bashmet, Teodor Currentzis, Hannu Lintu, Andrew Matze and Gabor Takacs-Nagy.

Alexandra is also a devoted chamber musician. She regularly collaborates with artists such as Boris Brovtsyn, Gérard Caussé, Renaud Capuçon, Finghin Collins, Blythe Teh Engstroem, Katia and Marielle Labèque, Yura Lee, Michail Lifits, Alexander Melnikov, Paul Meyer, Edgar Moreau, Andreas Ottensamer, Julien Quentin, Alexei Stadler, Kirill Troussov, Istvan Vardai and others.

Alexandra was born in 1988 in the Republic of Moldova and took up the violin at the age of six. She studied with Professor Petru Munteanu at the University of Music in Rostock, with Professor Krzysztof Wegrzyn at the University of Music in Hannover and with Professor Renaud Capuçon at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne. She has received taken additional classes with Ivry Gitlis, Igor Oistrakh, Igor Ozim and others. She currently plays the Santo-Seraphin Violin, dated 1735, Venezia, kindly loaned by the "Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben".


阿伦巴特尔,蒙古国

2005至2010年间,阿伦巴特尔在蒙古国国立文化和艺术大学O. Ichinkhorloo教授门下学习并毕业。2011年,他在莫斯科第24届格林卡国际声乐比赛中被授予“最佳男中音”及“帕威尔·利西齐安(Pavel Lisitsian)”奖。2012年他获得蒙古国“最优秀歌唱家”奖。2014年,他是莫斯科第3届穆斯利姆·玛格莫夫(Muslim Magomaev)国际声乐比赛第一名。自2014年起,他在乌兰乌德布里亚特国立歌舞剧院担任独唱。2015年,他在第15届柴可夫斯基国际音乐比赛中斩获声乐组金奖。


Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar, Mongolia

Graduate of the Mongolian State University of Culture and Art studying under Prof. O. Ichinkhorloo (2005-2010). In 2011 he won the 24th Glinka International Vocal Contest in Moscow with a prize as best baritone in the competition and the special Pavel Lisitsian Prize. In 2012 he received a prize for best singer in Mongolia. In 2014 he took first prize in the 3rd Muslim Magomaev International Vocalists Competition in Moscow. Since 2014 he has been a soloist for the Buryat State Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Ulan-Ude. In 2015 he won 1st prize (Gold Medal) and the Grand Prix at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition.


丹尼尔·哈利托诺夫,俄罗斯

Daniel Kharitonov, Russia

Daniel Kharitonov was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. At the age of five he began to study piano at the Middle Special School of Music in Novosibirsk. At the age of six he entered first year at the Central School (College) of Music of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. He is currently a pupil of Valery Pyasetsky. At the age of seven Daniel Kharitonov made his orchestral debut at the Pavel Slobodkin Theatre and Concert Hall in Moscow. At the same age, he won the Grand Prix at the Vienna International Competition and the honorary title of Mozart Wunderkind. Daniel Kharitonov has been a prize-winner at several international competitions, one of which brought him the Golden Nutcracker award and the Special Prize from Kultura TV in 2010. At the age of eleven the young musician was awarded an Honorary Diploma as a winner of the New Russia Orchestra Award, having performed Rachmaninoff's First Piano Concerto with the ensemble. From the age of twelve, Daniel Kharitonov has frequently appeared with the Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov and has been a grant-recipient of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. The pianist has also appeared with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia (under Vladimir Spivakov), the Musica Viva orchestra (under Alexander Rudin), the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra (under Saulius Sondeckis), the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (under Vladimir Sirenko), the Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic (under Fabio Mastrangelo) and the Mariinsky Orchestra (under Valery Gergiev). Daniel Kharitonov has appeared at the most famous concert halls in Moscow, including the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Great, Small and Rachmaninoff Halls of the Moscow Conservatoire, the Svetlanov, Small and Theatre Halls of the Moscow House of Music, the Armoury Chamber of the Moscow Kremlin and the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions in addition to performances at prestigious venues in St Petersburg, Omsk, Perm, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod and other cities throughout Russia. In October 2013 the pianist gave a recital at the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire. The pianist has taken part in such festivals as New Names, Moscow Greets Its Friends, Guests of Vladimir Spivakov..., Stars on Baikal, Musical Olympus, the Mariinsky International Piano Festival,Stars of the White Nights, Larisa Gergieva and Friends, Crescendo, and international festivals in Colmar and Annecy as well as the Moscow Easter Festival. He has toured to great acclaim to the USA (New York), Austria(Vienna), Germany, Spain, France (Paris, Colmar, Annecy), Slovenia, Lithuania (Vilnius), Estonia (Tallinn), Latvia (Riga), Bulgaria (Sofia), Belarus (Minsk, Mogilev), Ukraine (Kiev, Odessa), Azerbaijan (Baku), Kazakhstan (Astana), Moldavia (Chişinău), Turkey, Belgium (Brussels), Iceland (Reykjavik) and Switzerland (Zurich, Basel). March 2013 saw Kharitonov make a successful appearance at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York. American critics highly praised the young musician's performance. Daniel Kharitonov has been nominated for Russia's National Pride award. In October 2013 Daniel Kharitonov had the honour of being a torch-bearer at the Moscow Kremlin in advance of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games. March 28th, 2014 Daniel performed on the grand opening ceremony of the years of youth exchanges of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, with the Russian-Chinese youth orchestra (under Valery Gergiev). March 2015, Daniel wins the Grand Prix of the I Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition. June 2015, the 16-years young pianist Daniel Kharitonov has been the 3rd Prize and Bronze Medal of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition. The pianist's engagements for last season included recitals at the Rachmaninoff Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre and the National State Opera and Ballet Theatre of Vladikavkaz. 



 王传越,男高音

王传越, 毕业于中央音乐学院,最具实力男高音歌唱家,旧金山歌剧院签约歌唱家,国际顶级艺术家培训计划梅罗拉成员和艾德勒成员,国内声乐大奖的“大满贯”得主   
2015获得被誉为音乐界”奥林匹克“的柴科夫斯基国际音乐比赛 歌剧银奖  成为开赛50多年以来中国第一位获得大赛奖项的男高音。获得多个音乐节和歌剧院邀请。
2014年  文化部中国歌剧节优秀表演奖 2013年  第九届中国音乐金钟奖声乐比赛金奖  2013第六届北京国际音乐比赛歌剧比赛第一名 ,
2013第十五届青年歌手电视大奖赛美声组金奖 2012年   韩国首尔国际声乐大赛第一名   第十届全国声乐比赛文华奖第一名   
意大利第七届马尔蒂尼国际声乐比赛第一名  2011年   第五届中国国际声乐比赛第一名  。
王传越以男高音第一名的优异成绩考取中央音乐学院,连续五年获得专业第一名。近年来,他先后在中国国家大剧院、上海音乐厅、维也纳勋伯格中心、纽约林肯中心、马林斯基音乐厅,旧金山歌剧院,马林斯基剧院等著名艺术殿堂,主演过《法尔斯塔夫》、《梅菲斯托费雷》、《女人心》、《漂泊的荷兰人》、《奥泰罗》、《茶花女》、《Rita》、《唐帕斯夸莱》、《赵氏孤儿》、《永不消逝的电波》、《导弹司令》、《雪原》等众多中外歌剧,受到业界专家及广大观众一致好评。此外,他还多次应邀参加人民大会堂新春音乐会、人民大会堂建国65周年国庆晚会、中央电视台元旦跨年晚会、中国文联百花迎春晚会、“香江明月夜”庆中秋晚会、纽约林肯中心艾利斯塔里音乐厅音乐会、旧金山金门公园露天音乐会等国内外大型演出。获得意大利,美国,俄罗斯,等众多音乐节邀请。
王传越拥有出色的声音天赋和强大的演唱实力。他的演唱音色纯净明亮,技术精准华丽,情感演绎准确到位而又极具张力。在国外期间,曾有十余位国际一线评委被他的声音感动落泪,并将其誉为“近十年来听到的最好的男高音”。曾被众多国外媒体评论报道。 

 

Chuanyue Wang, tenor

A graduate of the Central Conservatory in Beijing, Chuanyue Wang is Adler Fellow at the San Francisco Opera where he performing the roles of Wagner and Nereo in Mefistofele and Cover Fenton in Falstaff this fall. He was also a participant in the Merola Opera Program, the Carlo Bergonzi Master Class, the Okazaki International Voice Master Class, the Brasov Opera House Training Program in Romania and the Schonberg Institute in Vienna. Mr. Wang has won first prizes in the Yang Soohwa International Voice Competition in Korea, the Mandova Martini International Competition in Italy, and the 5th China International Voice Competition, as well as second prize in the 3rd China Musicians’ Association International Competition. He has appeared as a soloist in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with the Seiji Ozawa Music Acadmey, made his operatic debut with the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing as General Han in Chinese Orphan, and the Steersman in Der Fliegende Holländer, and performed the role of Ernesto in Don Pasquale in Shanghai.
