导赏音乐会包含了两首拉赫玛尼诺夫的作品,《岩石》是他早年正处春风得时的作品,是从莱蒙托夫诗歌中获得灵感而创作,并于1899年首演。在这部作品中,拉赫已经展现出了傲视的音乐才华,在乐句间留出了其“忧伤的俄罗斯行僧”的影子。当然,另一部作品——他的《第三钢琴协奏曲》则是一部旷世杰作,它等着数以万计的钢琴家去挑战。非常期待孙颖迪与余隆的再次鼎力合作,演绎这部钢琴作品文献中的庞然大物。孙颖迪在今年与余隆指挥的广州交响乐团和杰基耶夫指挥的马林斯基交响乐团分别合作了此曲,这一次重磅级的再次重逢,必须去现场听个究竟。这场音乐会还有一个亮点,就是孙颖迪还将与宋思衡一起演绎普朗克的“为双钢琴与乐团所作的d小调协奏曲”,这像是两位同代钢琴家用琴艺在真诚的对话。(林达,乐评人)

作为80年代后崛起的最有成就的钢琴家之一,宋思衡在国际乐坛的地位不仅仅是由他所获得的众多国际大奖,更是由他辉煌的职业演奏生涯所奠定的。96年,年仅十四岁的他就在北京全国钢琴比赛中获得冠军  。之后在英国利兹,爱尔兰都柏林,法国巴黎,中国上海等重大国际比赛中获奖,七次获得国际冠军并创造了这些比赛中华人的最好成绩,特别是04年在法国举行的国际五大赛事之一第六十一届玛格丽特·隆—雅克·蒂博国际钢琴大赛中,他历史性的成为了七十年来第一位摘取桂冠并囊获多项特别奖的中国人。法兰西三台全程转播了在巴黎夏特莱大剧院(Theatre Chatelet)的庆祝晚会,其间发表了法国总统希拉克和总理拉法兰的贺词。法新社在随后的社论中评论他:完美,激情,辉煌,无可争论的冠军。费加罗报等欧洲著名媒体纷纷发表评论,称他为“新一代欧洲古典乐坛的领军人物”。

出生于1981年中国上海,三岁开始接受父亲的钢琴启蒙。1991年考入上海音乐学院附小,师从李道韫老师。1994年考入上音附中,后直升上海音乐学院。在此期间跟随我国著名钢琴教育家盛一奇教授和艺术家许忠学习钢琴。 2002年前往法国,就学于巴黎高等师范音乐学院(école Normale de Musique de Paris),跟随马利安-里比斯基(Marian Rybicki)教授学习钢琴。2003年由评委一致通过获得最高演奏家文凭,之后深造于巴黎音乐学院(CNR de PARIS),其间在国际钢琴大师班上师从多位国际级大师:菲力普-昂特蒙(Phillip Entremont)、德米特里-巴什基洛夫(Dmitri Bashikirov),白健宇(Kun-Woo Paik),多梅尼科-墨赫莱(Dominique Merlet)。

多年来他的职业演奏生涯足迹遍布全世界。法国巴黎夏特莱大剧院、Theatre Mogador、普莱耶尔音乐厅(Salle Pleyel)和Salle Gaveau,德国Beethoven-haus,波兰Dworek Chopina,瑞士日内瓦维克多大厅(Victoria Hall),爱尔兰国家音乐厅,维也纳音乐厅,汉堡爱乐大厅,日本东京三德利大厅(Suntory Hall),Sumida Triphony大厅,大阪NHK大厅,大阪交响乐大厅,北京国家大剧院,北京中山音乐堂,北京保利剧院,北京音乐厅,上海大剧院,上海东方艺术中心,上海音乐厅,澳门文化中心,香港文化中心,韩国首尔艺术中心等舞台上都曾经响彻过他的琴声。他也曾经收到国际最知名的音乐节如法国的拉罗克,德国的贝多芬,波兰的肖邦音乐节等的邀请,同时也和世界最顶级的乐团诸如英国哈雷交响乐团,英国皇家爱乐乐团,法国国家交响乐团,法国广播爱乐乐团,巴黎管弦乐团,蒙特卡罗爱乐乐团,新日本爱乐乐团,瑞士罗曼德交响乐团,德国德雷斯顿交响乐团,汉堡交响乐团,奥地利维也纳室内乐团,中国爱乐乐团,上海交响乐团,杭州爱乐乐团,香港爱乐管弦乐团等合作演出。

08年1月和4月他分别在环球DG唱片公司和法国的PASSAVANT唱片公司推出了专辑唱片,并在卢浮宫举行了唱片发售仪式,获得极高的评价。

2004、06年,他受邀担任在巴黎和摩洛哥举行的两项国际大赛的评委,与肖邦国际钢琴比赛评委会主席雅辛斯基(A.Jasinsky)等名家一起开展评判工作,籍此成为世界级国际音乐大赛最年轻的评委之一。

08年五月他率领法国PAYS  DE  LOIRE国家交响乐团对中国进行了成功的奥运友好访问,取得空前成功,法新社和新华社在通讯中称为:弥合了两国因火炬传递发生裂痕的音乐破冰之旅。

09年5月他作为驻院艺术家正式签约上海大剧院,成为了上海大剧院有史以来最年轻的签约艺术家。

他也是多媒体独奏音乐会的创始人,从09年《交响情人梦》多媒体独奏音乐会开始,他进行了一系列新颖的大型多媒体独奏会的创作,《肖邦-爱》多媒体钢琴音乐剧,《寻找村上春树》,《阅读巴金》,音画音乐会《蓝》都取得了极大成功,预示和展望了未来音乐形式的新方向,在社会上引起广泛的关注。从文学,戏剧,绘画的跨界,到与电子音乐,民族音乐的混搭,他展现了远远超越一个钢琴家范畴的音乐理念,成为代表中国音乐艺术发展潮流的领军人物。

2012年6月正式成立宋思衡多媒体音乐工作室。  

2014-15年他的多媒体音乐会新作品《80后时光机》在几十个城市进行巡演,获得极大成功。

作为专栏作家,他也曾定期在上海壹周,头等客,Numero等杂志报刊中开设专栏。

2015年3月他为电影《穿过硝烟的歌声》制作了部分电影音乐并在剧中出演角色。

2009年,荷兰Brilliant Classic唱片公司在全球发行了孙颖迪的个人首张专辑。

除了对古典音乐的传统曲目继续精研之外,孙颖迪还颇多涉猎近现代或当代作曲家的作品。他与著名华人作曲家谭盾先生有密切的合作,曾成功出演其钢琴协奏曲《火》和《武侠三部曲•夜宴》;在2006年“上海之春”国际音乐节上,孙颖迪献演了英国作曲家本杰明•布里顿的钢琴协奏曲,受到布里顿生前工作伙伴、音乐学家唐纳德•米歇尔(Donald Mitchell)的高度评价。孙颖迪还参与了2010年上海世博会开幕式音乐《江河情缘》的创演编排;在2012年上海之春国际音乐节的开幕式上,孙颖迪成功地演绎了华人作曲家刘敦南先生的钢琴协奏曲《山林》,并在翌年与上海爱乐乐团合作录制了该部作品。近年来,颖迪还录制了上海音乐学院前院长桑桐先生的钢琴作品以及著名作曲家王建中先生的钢琴作品。2014年5月,孙颖迪还与著名指挥家邵恩先生和中国国家交响乐团录制了作曲家龚晓婷的钢琴协奏曲《古都心梦》。孙颖迪在“2015年上海之春国际音乐节”开幕音乐会上演奏了作曲家张朝的最新原创钢琴协奏作品《中国之梦》。

长期以来,孙颖迪对室内乐有浓厚的兴趣,曾与德国小提琴家奥古斯丁• 哈德里希(Augustin Hadelich)在欧洲和北美巡演;2011年末,孙颖迪与著名小提琴演奏家吕思清先生、著名大提琴演奏家秦立巍先生一起,组建成立了“美杰”三重奏组,并每年都在国家大剧院举行音乐会。

近年来,孙颖迪还对跨界艺术领域进行了尝试。他与昆曲名角张军合作的《牡丹亭•山桃红》选段,不仅显示了孙颖迪对于中国古典文学戏剧的钟爱,同时也巧妙的将西方印象主义的音乐元素融入其中;在2010年世博会的系列演出以及2011国家大剧院演出季的音乐会中,孙颖迪还尝试了古典音乐与芭蕾、现代舞的结合,与旅德舞蹈艺术家邱思婷、华裔舞蹈家陈吴泽分别举行了钢琴与现代舞即兴音乐会等成功的实验性音乐活动。

自2006年始,孙颖迪在母校上海音乐学院钢琴系任教;2011年,孙颖迪受邀担任第二届中央电视台钢琴小提琴大赛的复赛及决赛评委。2012年,孙颖迪受邀担任安东•鲁宾斯坦国际钢琴比赛预选赛评委。同年,孙颖迪还被中央电视台评为“十大青年钢琴演奏家”。2014年,颖迪受邀将再度担任中央电视台钢琴小提琴大赛评委。

孙颖迪自幼年起便进入上海音乐学院学习钢琴演奏,曾师从张崇芳老师、罗霄教授、陈彦新教授及盛一奇教授,还多次参加了法国钢琴大师菲利浦•昂特芒(Philippe Entremont)、多米尼克•墨赫莱(Dominique Merlet)、李斯特作品专家莱斯利• 霍华德(Leslie Howard)以及傅聪先生、许忠先生等执教的大师班;曾获得包括第二届全国“金钟奖”钢琴比赛铜奖、“宝钢教育奖2005年度优秀学生奖”、“上海文艺人才基金2005年度上海艺术专业优秀学生特等奖”、“上海市教委2006年度上海市高等学校优秀毕业生”、“2006年度上海文艺人才基金优秀文艺人才特别奖”、“2010年度上海文艺人才基金教师奖”、首届上海音乐学院青年教师大赛专业骨干组二等奖、“中国扶贫基金会孤儿助养项目部爱心大使”等一系列奖项。

 

指挥:余隆

余隆是活跃于国际乐坛的最杰出的中国指挥家。现任中国爱乐乐团艺术总监和首席指挥、广州交响乐团音乐总监、上海交响乐团音乐总监和北京国际音乐节艺术总监、上海夏季音乐节艺术总监。

余隆是与世界顶尖级交响乐团合作最多的华人指挥家。他与世界各地众多知名交响乐团和歌剧院有着广泛合作,他指挥过的乐团有纽约爱乐乐团、芝加哥交响乐团、费城乐团、洛杉矶爱乐乐团、蒙特利尔交响乐团、华盛顿国家交响乐团、辛辛那提交响乐团、巴黎管弦乐团、班贝格交响乐团、汉堡国家歌剧院、柏林广播交响乐团、莱比锡广播交响乐团、慕尼黑爱乐乐团、悉尼交响乐团、BBC交响乐团、香港管弦乐团、东京爱乐乐团和新加坡交响乐团等。

余隆1964年出生于上海的音乐世家,自幼随外祖父、著名作曲家丁善德教授学习音乐。后求学于上海音乐学院和德国柏林高等艺术大学。先后受教于中国音乐教育家黄晓同教授和德国歌剧指挥家鲁宾斯坦教授等名师。出色的音乐天赋、优越的教育背景及广博的社会资源为余隆的艺术生涯奠定了坚实基础,使得他能够迅速成长为一位成就卓著的指挥家和音乐活动家。

余隆的艺术生涯涵盖指挥和艺术管理领域。1992年自德国学成回国后,余隆担任中央歌剧院常任指挥。同年,他创办了首届北京新年音乐会,并连续三年担任指挥,开启国内演出新年音乐会之先河。1993年起,余隆连续五年为香港市政局指挥歌剧演出。1998年,余隆发起并创办了北京国际音乐节,担任艺术总监。在他的出色领导下,北京国际音乐节不仅成为中国和亚洲规模最大的音乐节,也跻身于全球知名度最高的音乐节之列。在过去若干年间,金秋时节的北京国际音乐节上呈现了由众多著名乐团如柏林爱乐乐团和纽约爱乐乐团演出的精彩音乐会以及柏林德意志歌剧院、威尼斯凤凰歌剧院和圣彼得堡马林斯基剧院等带来的歌剧盛典,如《尼伯龙根的指环》、《玫瑰骑士》、《唐豪瑟》、《茶花女》、《纳布科》、《璐璐》和《姆钦斯克县的麦克白夫人》。

2000年,余隆参与创建了中国爱乐乐团,并担任艺术总监和首席指挥。余隆期望通过与众多世界知名音乐家的合作,使中国爱乐乐团发展成一个全能型职业化乐团,不仅向全世界介绍优秀的中国交响乐作品,也使得中国音乐家对西方音乐各时期及各种风格作品的演奏达到全新水准,并且在不同音乐形式上均有建树。余隆指挥中国爱乐乐团举行了许多大型作品的中国首演。2002年10月,作为第五届北京国际音乐节开幕式音乐会,余隆指挥包括中国爱乐乐团在内的近千名中外音乐家演出了马勒的第八《千人》交响曲,完成了这部宏伟巨作的历史性中国首演。从那时起,余隆指挥中国爱乐乐团演奏了数百部古典音乐的文献作品,并被誉为中国诠释德奥作品的最权威的指挥家。

2001年9月,余隆率中国爱乐乐团在台湾地区举行了成功的巡回演出。2002年6月,余隆率中国爱乐乐团参加了波多黎各的卡萨尔斯音乐节,随后在圣何塞、洛杉矶等地进行了美国西海岸巡演。同年9月,余隆再次率中国爱乐乐团赴海外巡演,在日本东京、神户、大阪和韩国汉城演出,所到之处均深受欢迎,尤其是在东京三得利音乐厅的音乐会,赢得了包括日本皇室成员在内的两千余名日本听众的热烈喝采,取得了轰动性成功。2003年,余隆的一系列重要指挥活动包括与东京爱乐乐团合作并率该团在中国巡演。同年5月起,他在作为北京国际音乐节艺术总监与中国爱乐乐团艺术总监和首席指挥的同时兼任广州交响乐团音乐总监。9月,余隆率领中国爱乐乐团赴欧洲巡演,在著名的巴黎国家歌剧院、华沙国家大剧院和维也纳音乐之友协会金色大厅演出,获得巨大成功。11月至12月间,余隆与大提琴家米沙·麦斯基和广州交响乐团一道进行大规模巡演,在巴黎香榭丽舍剧院、卢森堡音乐学院音乐厅、荷兰阿姆斯特丹音乐厅、开罗歌剧院和亚历山大音乐厅演出。2005年2月至4月,余隆率领中国爱乐乐团进行了规模空前的环球世界巡演,历时四十多天,跨越北美和欧洲,不仅在中国乐团出访史上前所未有,在全亚洲交响乐团中亦属罕见。2008年5月7日,余隆指挥中国爱乐乐团和上海歌剧院合唱团在梵蒂冈城保罗六世礼堂为教宗本笃十六世及八千余名听众演出了莫扎特的《安魂曲》,成为令全世界瞩目的重要文化盛事。英国《卫报》称此次意义非凡的演出为“中梵借音乐外交‘破冰’”。2009年11月,余隆率领上海交响乐团在纽约、洛杉矶、多伦多、圣地亚哥等北美12座城市进行了极为成功的巡演,《纽约时报》在2009年11月9日刊载专文介绍余隆的艺术成就,将余隆誉为“中国的赫伯特·冯·卡拉扬”。2010年3月,余隆率上海交响乐团赴波兰参加第十四届贝多芬音乐节,并在华沙和罗兹两座城市演出,受到各界高度评价。2011年,余隆再次率中国爱乐乐团巡访美国西海岸十数个城市。2012年中国春节期间,余隆指挥纽约爱乐乐团在纽约林肯中心的菲舍尔音乐厅举行了首次中国新年音乐会,使得他的指挥艺术再一次在美国享受盛誉。

余隆作为指挥家以及交响乐团和音乐节的领导者多年来始终大力倡导当代音乐,他领导下的北京国际音乐节、中国爱乐乐团和广州交响乐团等机构和团体向当今最重要的作曲家委约创作,包括克里斯托夫·潘德列茨基、约翰·威廉姆斯、菲利普·格拉斯、霍华德·肖、郭文景、谭盾、叶小纲、赵季平、赵麟和陈银淑等,并由马友友、朗朗、朱利安·劳埃德-韦伯等当今最优秀的演奏家与中国爱乐乐团担任首演。在2011年,由余隆担任艺术总监的北京国际音乐节与波士顿歌剧院向作曲家周龙共同委约的歌剧《白蛇传》获得了普利策奖。

余隆指挥的录音包括德意志唱片公司录制发行、中国爱乐乐团演奏的勃拉姆斯G小调钢琴四重奏(阿诺德·勋伯格配器)和瓦格纳的《唐豪瑟》序曲、中国管弦乐作品集以及由郎朗担任钢琴独奏的钢琴协奏曲《黄河》。拿索斯公司发行有余隆指挥科恩格尔德的小提琴协奏曲和丁善德的《长征交响曲》。2012年,余隆主持的中国爱乐乐团100张CD和10张LP唱片的发行更开创了中国乐团录制鸿篇巨制的先河。

作为一位优秀的音乐家和知名人士,余隆亦把培养年轻音乐家和社会教育工作作为己任,每年他都会发掘和培养一批年轻音乐家与他领导的乐团合作,使年轻音乐家能够在最受瞩目的音乐平台上崭露头角。2007年余隆创办了广东国际音乐夏令营,2012年上海交响乐团与纽约爱乐乐团联合创办的乐队学院令众多的年轻音乐家心向往之。

由于把全能艺术家作为追求目标,余隆除却在中国爱乐乐团和北京国际音乐节出品的许多歌剧中担任指挥之外还亲自担任导演,尤其是2004年他导演并执棒中国爱乐乐团演出的歌剧《卡门》,以及2010年雷哈尔的轻歌剧《风流寡妇》均引起了空前的轰动。

鉴于余隆在推动当今世界古典音乐事业发展和促进国际间文化交流方面所做的突出贡献,2002年,德国万宝龙文化基金会向余隆颁发了年度“万宝龙卓越艺术成就奖”;2003年,法国政府特别授予余隆“法兰西文学艺术骑士勋章”;2005年,意大利政府向余隆颁发了“共和国骑士勋章”。2010年11月,中央音乐学院在其庆祝建院70周年大会上授予他中央音乐学院荣誉院士称号,以表彰他近十年来对中国音乐的发展和对外文化交流作出的杰出贡献。这是国内艺术大学首次颁发“荣誉院士”称号,余隆成为我国艺术家中获此殊荣的第一人。当年12月15日又被授予“2010年年度中国文化人物”大奖。

2013年,余隆获颁国家级学术机构主办的最高艺术大奖“中华艺文奖”。

现余隆是第十一、十二届全国政协委员,并担任中国音乐家协会副主席职务。

Yingdi Sun was born in 1980 in Shanghai, China. He won the First Prize in the 7th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition held in Utrecht, the Netherlands in April 2005, the first Chinese pianist to win this prestigious competition. Yingdi’s outstanding interpretation of Liszt is praised by major media reports as the “Liszt in primary colors.” In recent years, Yingdi has been active both home and abroad, touring over countries including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Finland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Russia, Indonesia, China, Japan, Korea, the United States, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. He has performed in preeminent venues including Amsterdam Royal Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall (London), Suntory Hall (Tokyo), Konzerthaus Berlin, Tonhalle Zurich and Musikverein Vienna. He has enjoyed collaboration with conductors including Valery Gergiev, Myung-Whun Chung, Michel Plasson, Edo de Waart, Zoltan Kocsis, Michel Tabachnik, Andreas Ligeti, Jean-Bernard Pommier, Daniel Raiskin, Stephane Dénève, David Stern, Andrew Grams, Long Yu, Muhai Tang, Zuohuang Chen, Lü Jia, Tsung Yeh, Lihua Tan, Xieyang Chen, Guoyong Zhang, Xincao Li, among others. 

Since 2006, Yingdi Sun has been an artist in “Oriental Express Project” launched by the Ministry of Culture, performing in national festivities and cultural exchange events such as the opening ceremony of Chinese Culture Year in Japan, the closing ceremony of the Shanghai Week of Chinese Culture Year in Russia, the opening ceremony of Hungarian Culture Year, the closing ceremony of World Expo Zaragoza 2008, and the celebration concert of the 40th Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties between China and Austria.

In 2009, Brilliant Classics, a Dutch record company, released Yingdi’s debut album.

Apart from delving into the study of the traditional classical repertoire, Yingdi is also an active exponent of modern and contemporary music. He has had close collaboration with Tan Dun, premiering the famous Chinese composer’s piano concertos The Fire and The Banquet. In the 2006 Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, Yingdi performed Benjamin Britten’s piano concerto, to standing ovation from Donald Mitchell, musicologist and once colleague and friend with Britten. In 2010, Yingdi participated in the creation of the second part of the opening gala of the Shanghai World Expo. In the 2012 Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, Yingdi successfully performed the piano concerto Mountain Forest by Chinese composer Liu Dunnan.

Yingdi Sun has always been an avid chamber musician. He has toured in Europe and North America with German violinist Augustin Hadelich. At the end of 2011, Yingdi and celebrated violinist Siqing Lv and cellist Li-Wei Qin formed Majestic Trio and since then performed every year at NCPA.

Recently Yingdi Sun has also ventured into cross-genre arts. His collaboration with Jun Zhang, an eminent Kun opera performer, in a Shan Tao Hong section from The Peony Pavilion is not only a showcase of his constant love for Chinese classical literature, but also an ingenious innovation that integrates Western impressionism into the music. In his serial performance in the Shanghai World Expo in 2010 and concerts in NCPA in 2011, Yingdi also experimented with joining classical music with ballet and modern dance, collaborating respectively with Sisi Qiu, a Chinese dancer active in Germany, and Wun Sze Chan, a dancer of Nederlands Dans Theatre, in innovative dance-concerts featuring improvisation from the pianist and the dancer.

Since 2006, Yingdi Sun has taught in the piano department of Shanghai Conservatory, his alma mater. In 2001, he was invited to be a jury member in the second and final rounds of the Second CCTV Piano and Violin Competition. In 2012, he was invited to be a jury member of the preliminary round of Anton Rubinstein International Piano Competition. In the same year, CCTV named him one of the Ten Young Pianists.

Yingdi Sun started piano lessons at an early age in Shanghai Conservatory under professors Chongfang Zhang, Xiao Luo, Yanxin Chen and Yiqi Sheng. He also participated in master classes by the French master pianists Philippe Entremont and Dominique Merlet, the Liszt expert Leslie Howard as well as Fou Ts’ong and Xu Zhong. The prizes he won while a student include the Bronze Medal of the Second National Jinzhong Prize, the 2005 'Bao Steel' Outstand Student Award, the Shanghai Arts Talent Fund 2005 Shanghai Arts Major Outstanding Award, 2006 Shanghai Outstand University Graduate, Shanghai Arts Talent Fund 2006 Excellent Arts Talent Special Prize, among others.


Siheng Song piano

Pianist Siheng Song was born in Shanghai, China in 1981 and is widely regarded as one of the top pianists of his generation.

In 2002, study abroad in France in the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris with Prof. Marian Rybicki. After receiving his Diploma of Concert Pianist, he went on to study with Olivier Gardon in the Conservatory of Paris, and is currently studying privately with Dominique Merlet.

After moving to Paris, Siheng began collecting many definitive prizes, such as first prizes in the Pontoise Piano Campus Concours, Morocco International Piano Concours, Viseu International Competition in Portugal, Grand Prix Animato International Concours.He was also a prizewinner at the Leeds,Dublin,and most importantly, the Grand Prize at the 2004 Long Thibaud Piano Concours, making him the first Chinese to win this prestige competition.

Since his victory in Paris, Siheng Song has toured extensively

worldwide,Tokyo,Soeul,Beijing,Shanghai,Paris,Berlin,London,NY and so on...His many festival engagements include festival de la Roque d'Antheron in France, Ruhr Festival in Germany, Beethoven Festival in Bonn, Chopin festival in Duszniki in Poland and so on.He has played with many orchestras outstanding such as Orchestra de Paris,Orchestra Philharmonic de Radio France,Orchestra Nationale de France, Orchestra Nationale de Lille, Orchestra Phiharmonic de Monte-Carlo, NRD Symphony Orchestra,Halle Orchestra of England,Chamber Orchestra of Vienna,Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse,New Japan Philharmonic,China Philharmonic,Hongkong Philharmonic.Recently, he recorded several CDs for Radio France, DG to high acclaim. His first solo CD was released in April under the Passavant label. Despite his young age, Siheng Song has been invited to judge at various competitions, including the Morocco International Piano Competition, the Grand Prix Animato, and the Grandes Amateurs International Piano Competition in Paris .He is also the youngest staying artist of Shanghai Grand Theatre.

Long Yu

As one of the most distinguished Chinese conductors with an established international reputation, Maestro Long Yu is currently Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the China Philharmonic Orchestra, Music Director of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Music Director of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Artistic Director of the Beijing Music Festival and Music in the Summer Air, MISA.

Long Yu is one of the conductors who conducts the world top-class orchestras most frequently, he has appeared with a prestigious list of leading orchestras and a lot of opera companies around the world, including the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, Montreal Symphony OrchestraWashington National Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Hamburg State Opera, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Rundfunk Sinfonie Orchester Leipzig, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Long Yu was born in 1964 into a family of musicians in Shanghai. Musical education in his early childhood came from his grandfather Ding Shande, a composer of great renown, and he later studied at the Shanghai Conservatory with Professor Xiaotong Huang and then studied at the Hochschule der Kunst in Berlin with Prof. Robinstein. Outstanding music talents, excellent educational background and extensive social resources make Long Yu a preeminent conductor.

Long Yu's career has included both artistic and administrative appointments. In 1992, he was appointed Principal Conductor of the Central Opera Theatre in Beijing, and in the same year, he was involved in the planning of the first Beijing New Year's Concert and served as its conductor for three consecutive years. He also produced operas for The Urban Council of Hong Kong for five successive years. In 1998, he led the creation of the Beijing Music Festival and was its Founding Artistic Director. Under his leadership the Beijing Music Festival is regarded as the largest classical music festival in the eastern hemisphere and one of the world's most important music festivals. During the past 11years at this annual autumn festival there have been many splendid concerts given by leading orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic, as well as outstanding productions of the Ring, Der Rosenkavalier, Tannhäuser, La Traviata, Nabucco, Lulu and Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District by visiting opera companies including the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Teatro la Fenice and the Mariinsky Theatre.

In 2000, Long Yu co-founded the China Philharmonic Orchestra and was appointed Artistic Director and Chief Conductor. Now entering his 9th season with the China Philharmonic, he has maintained the high standard of orchestral performance and artistic administration and built the ensemble's reputation as not only a leading Chinese orchestra but also a world-famous one. In 2003, Long Yu was appointed the Music Director of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and he has been raising the level and fame of the orchestra rapidly. He toured extensively with the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra as well as the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. In September 2003, under his leadership, the China Philharmonic Orchestra toured Europe, with memorable concerts at the Palais Garnier, Paris, the Teatr Wielki - National Opera Warsaw and the Grosser Saal of the Musikverein, Vienna. In December of the same year he undertook a major European and Egyptian tour with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and Mischa Maisky, giving concerts at Theatre des Champs-Élysées, Paris, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Luxemburg, Cairo Opera House and Alexander Opera House. From February to April 2005, he led the China Philharmonic Orchestra on an international tour. Within 40 days they appeared in 22 cities throughout North America and Europe. In 2008, for the first time in history, the China Philharmonic Orchestra performed under the baton of maestro Long Yu at the Vatican in the Paul VI Auditorium. The concert was attended by The Holy Father Pope Benedict XIV and marked a giant step in bringing eastern and western cultures closer together. In April 2009 the China Philharmonic Orchestra was selected by the Gramophone, which is widely regarded as the best classical music magazine in the world, as one of "the world's 10 most inspiring orchestras". In November 2009 Long Yu led the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra on a twelve-city North American tour which is a huge success. The tour began with the closing concert of the Ancient Paths, Modern Voices Festival at Carnegie Hall and included concerts in Los Angeles, Toronto and San Diego. A New York Times report from November 9, 2009 gave an introduction to Long Yu's artistic achievement and hailed him as "China's Herbert von Karajan." In March 2010 Long Yu conducted the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra at the 14th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Krakow and gave concerts in Warsaw and Lodz. All the performances won high praise from both audiences and critics. In 2011, Long Yu toured extensively with the China Philharmonic Orchestra in 8 cities in west coast of United States. In Chinese spring festival of 2012, Long Yu led the New York Philharmonic in the First Chinese New Year Concert at Avery Fisher Hall of Lincoln Center.

Maestro Long Yu's reputation has been enhanced by his activities as a widely admired and respected figure in administration of orchestras and festival as well as in international exchanging of musical culture. As a champion of contemporary music Long Yu has been commissioning a number of works from today's prominent composers such as Krzysztof Penderecki, Philip Glass, Guo Wenjing, Tan Dun, Ye Xiaogang and Unsuk Chin.

Mr. Long Yu's recordings include, on Deutsche Grammophon with the China Philharmonic, Brahms's Piano Quartet in G Minor (orch. Arnold Schoenberg) and Wagner's Tannhäuser Overture, highlights of Chinese symphonic music and Yellow River Concerto with Lang Lang as featured soloist. Recordings on Naxos include Korngold's Violin Concerto and Ding Shande's Long March Symphony. In 2012 Long Yu lead the release of CPO Live a 100-CD box set of the live performances in the past music seasons of China Philharmonic Orchestra, as a milestone of both the development of Chinese symphony orchestras and the recording industry in China.

Long Yu received the 2002 Montblanc Arts Patronage Award from the Montblanc Cultural Foundation, and in 2003 came Le grade de chevalier dans l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres (The Honor of Chevalier of French Art and Culture) from the Government of France. In 2005, Italian President honored Maestro Long Yu L'onorificenza di commendatore.

In November 2010, the Central Conservatory of Music has presented Maestro Long Yu with a certificate of the Honourable Academician from the Central Conservatory at a conference for 70th year anniversary of its founding, in recognition of his great contribution and devoted efforts to the development in classical music in China and cultural exchanges over the past decade. On December 2010, he was awarded People of the Year in Arts Field in China.

In 2013, Long Yu was awarded the national level arts award China Arts Award.

Long Yu is currently Vice-president of Chinese Musicians Association, member of the 11th and 12th the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
