中国爱乐乐团成立20周年系列演出之二

导赏 二十世纪法国最重要的作曲家梅西安的音乐以极其先锋变幻莫测的和声色彩和复杂的节奏闻名于世。而他的早期无伴奏四声部合唱作品《神圣之宴》则通过了静态且工整的半音色彩和声将这首礼拜赞歌中的热枕推向极致,平静,简单,却有巨大的音乐张力。

法国作曲家拉罗创作的五乐章《西班牙交响曲》在比才歌剧《卡门》首演前一个月——1875年2月于巴黎上演,正值西班牙主题的音乐风靡巴黎之时。其虽名为“交响曲”,却更像是一部小提琴协奏曲,西班牙音乐动机贯穿全曲,包括著名的哈巴涅拉节奏。

《安魂曲》是弗雷最著名的作品之一,中国观众应该一点也不陌生。弗雷擅长写声乐作品,其法语艺术歌曲旋律大多优美温和,和声富于色彩。其作品中浓郁的法国味道则是将法语的韵律与音乐完美结合而来。很多作曲家写过《安魂曲》,而弗雷却一反传统将拉丁经文中的震怒之日一节去掉,以极其圣洁纯净的女高音独唱段落Pie Jesu代替,在庄严肃穆的拉丁语经文和大型乐队合唱作品中,仍然保持了法国音乐中温暖宁静忧郁高贵的一面。(李梅里,旅欧歌唱家)

在美声唱法和抒情曲目中的诸多精彩表现,奠定了张立萍作为一位卓越的声乐女高音歌唱家的国际地位。她曾在科文特花园皇家歌剧院、纽约大都会歌剧院、巴黎歌剧院、中国国家大剧院等多地演出。

她的众多表演在中国都广受好评,比如中国原创歌剧《西施》首演,在第一届国家大剧院歌剧节以及在由洛林·马泽尔执导的《茶花女》中的表演。2010年,她受安德鲁•劳埃德•韦伯邀请赴伦敦参加其新音乐剧《真爱不死》的首演,随后又被邀请参加由宝丽金唱片公司发行的《真爱不死》亚洲声音集中文版音乐主题曲的录制。

她表演的“乔乔桑”这一角色引起了世界关注。2011年,应大都会歌剧院邀请,她与普拉西多•多明哥合作表演出《蝴蝶夫人》。2012年,在科文特花园皇家歌剧院,她在《蝴蝶夫人》中表演“乔乔桑”角色,此次演出被录制为3D影像在全球范围内上映,同时被录制成DVD发行。

2014年,她签约环球音乐,成为旗下首位签订长期合约的华人歌唱艺术家。同年,她的舒伯特艺术歌曲专辑《夜与梦》通过Decca品牌发行。2015年,其专辑《思乡——中国艺术歌曲集》由Decca发行,并获2018年中国美声金唱片奖。2018年其专辑《威尔第咏叹调》由DG发行。

张立萍女士现为中央音乐学院声乐歌剧系博士生导师。


男中音:袁晨野

袁晨野,旅美著名男中音歌唱家,中央音乐学院声乐歌剧系教授、博士生导师。他在欧、美20多家主流歌剧院主演了40多部歌剧。并和费城,芝加哥,德国班贝格等顶级交响乐团演出音乐会。还在美国,芬兰,新加坡,香港,广州 北京的音乐节上举办个人独唱音乐会。他曾在九个不同制作近五十场的演出中成功的塑造了《弄臣》中的剧名主角,《歌剧新闻》和《纽约时报》给予了高度的评价;英国广播公司(BBC)在庆祝伊丽莎白女王二世登基五十周年的系列活动中直播了全剧的演出。他担任主角之一的歌剧《小妇人》在美国公共电视台(PBS)“伟大的演出”节目中播放,并由Ondine公司录制唱片和DVD;Philips公司发行了他同中国交响乐团录制的歌剧咏叹调及《黄河颂》的唱片。Naxos公司也发行了他主演的歌剧《尼克松在中国》现场版唱片。袁晨野是多明戈先生担任华盛顿歌剧院艺术总监就职庆典音乐会的独唱嘉宾并受邀到白宫做客,他还在休斯顿市老布什总统雕像揭幕仪式上演唱美国国歌;2017年9月和广州交响乐团世界首演波兰作曲大师C.潘德列斯基的第六交响曲——中国诗歌,名字被印在世界著名音乐出版社Schott的乐谱上。他的国际声乐比赛奖项包括每五年举行一次的芬兰“米丽娅姆·海林”国际声乐比赛男声组第一名;纽约大都会歌剧院歌剧比赛最高奖;休斯敦大歌剧院声乐比赛第一名及观众奖;1994年他在第十届柴科夫斯基国际音乐比赛中获得声乐金奖,成为至今获此殊荣唯一的华人歌唱家。 2015年受指挥大师杰捷耶夫的邀请作为第15届柴赛亚洲唯一的声乐评委和颁奖嘉宾。他还是中国音乐“金钟奖”,央视青歌赛以及中国金唱片奖的评委。


中央歌剧院合唱团

中央歌剧院是直属于文化部的国家歌剧院。中央歌剧院合唱团是中央歌剧院的主要基本组成部门,同时也是现今全国编制最大,最具整体实力和影响力的职业合唱团,是目前中国歌剧舞台上和各种音乐会中最活跃和最受欢迎的合唱团之一,所到之处,无不受到广大听众和媒体的好评。

自建成之日起,该合唱团就一直活跃在中外歌剧和音乐会舞台上。除最擅长于歌剧演出外,该合唱团还经常演唱贝多芬、普罗科菲耶夫等很多各个历史时期的国外作品和国内作品,并经常举办各类歌剧作品合唱以及艺术作品合唱音乐会。

在歌剧创作方面,几十年里曾参与排练演出的中国歌剧,如《王贵与李香香》《刘胡兰》《草原之歌》《春雷》《望夫云》《阿依古丽》《南海长城》《护花神》《第一百个新娘》《马可·波罗》等,就受到了当时党和国家领导人的亲切接见与鼓励,同时也为中国观众排练介绍了多部外国著名歌剧,如《茶花女》《蝴蝶夫人》《货郎与小姐》《叶甫根尼·奥涅金》《费加罗的婚礼》《卡门》《艺术家的生涯》《小丑》《驯悍记》《弄臣》《图兰朵》《乡村骑士》《塞维利亚理发师》等,近几年中合唱团与时俱进,排练上演了《杜十娘》《霸王别姬》《热瓦普恋歌》《山林之梦》《辛亥风云》《鄞地九歌》《辛亥风云》《我的母亲叫太行》《红军不怕远征难》以及复排了歌剧《白毛女》受到了广大观众的热情称赞。2009年受邀参加了张艺谋执导的在国家体育场(鸟巢版)以及台湾演出的《图兰朵》,2010年以来出访叙利亚、土耳其、意大利、匈牙利、瑞士、韩国、泰国等地,所到之处均受到当地专家以及观众的极高评价,自2011年开始,歌剧院排练上演了难度极高的德国瓦格纳歌剧《唐豪塞》以及瓦格纳的代表作《指环》系列,合唱团在这几部歌剧中的出色演唱和表演为剧院在第一届中国歌剧节中获得多项大奖作出了极大贡献。以上部分剧目曾多次荣获文化部颁发的多个奖项。

中央歌剧院合唱团训练有素,音色纯净,极富表现力,并且通过多年的演出积累了大量歌剧和音乐会曲目。该合唱团中拥有占很大比例的国家一级演员和二级演员;所到之处均受到广泛欢迎;现今的合唱团拥有许多出色的年轻歌唱家,他们不断在各种国际重要声乐比赛中获得奖项,脱颖而出,显露才华,并日益活跃在中外歌剧和音乐会舞台上。


指挥:余隆

余隆是活跃于国际乐坛的最杰出的中国指挥家,被纽约时报誉为“中国古典音乐届最具影响力的人物”,现任北京国际音乐节艺术委员会主席和中国爱乐乐团艺术总监,上海交响乐团和广州交响乐团音乐总监,上海夏季音乐节的联合总监,以及香港管弦乐团首席客席指挥。余隆创办了北京国际音乐节并于1998年至2018年间担任其艺术总监。

在2019/20乐季中,除了在中国的演出,余隆将以客座指挥英国皇家爱乐乐团、纽约爱乐乐团、伯尔尼交响乐团,荷兰广播爱乐乐团,阿德莱德交响乐团、奥克兰爱乐乐团、台湾爱乐乐团以及新加坡交响乐团等。2019年夏天,余隆与上海交响乐团的巡演之旅至美国和欧洲等地,包括了BBC逍遥音乐节、爱丁堡国际艺术节、拉维尼亚艺术节,卢塞恩音乐节等。

2018年6月,余隆与德意志留声机(以下称“DG”)签署独家录音合约,成为DG旗下签约的第一位中国指挥家。作为2018/19乐季德意志留声机120周年庆典的一部分,余隆于18年10月在北京的紫禁城太庙指挥了一场盛大的启动音乐会,同台艺术家包括阿依达•加里芙琳娜和丹尼尔•特里福诺夫,该音乐会随后发行了唱片。

2008年,余隆指挥中国爱乐乐团作为首支中国乐团在梵蒂冈城保罗六世礼堂演出,教宗本笃十六世观看演出,成为令全世界瞩目的中西方文化交流盛事。2014年余隆率领中国爱乐乐团在英国BBC逍遥音乐节上演出,该音乐会的电视转播在英国收视率过百万,余隆和中国爱乐也成为了首位中国指挥和中国乐团登上这一舞台。

为了推动中国交响乐的宏观发展,余隆联合了上海交响乐团、上海音乐学院和纽约爱乐创建了中国首个乐队学院。他的前瞻性愿景着眼于向中国正在成长中的古典乐观众介绍重要的西方作品,包括瓦格纳的指环王系列、马勒系列,还有理查德•施特劳斯、本杰明•布里顿及其他作曲家作品。2014年,纽约爱乐乐团任命余隆为乐团国际顾问委员会荣誉成员。这一由12名成员组成的委员会是一个倡导者和大使们与各国个人和机构联结的关系网,以培养纽约爱乐长期在全球范围内的影响力。

余隆与广州交响乐团的初次合作是1993年,并于2003年成为该团音乐总监。任职期间余隆曾率领乐团赴欧洲和埃及巡演,在巴黎香榭丽舍剧院、卢森堡音乐学院、阿姆斯特丹音乐厅和开罗歌剧院演出。

余隆1964年出生于上海的音乐世家,自幼随外祖父、著名作曲家丁善德教授学习音乐。后求学于上海音乐学院和德国柏林高等艺术大学。1992年,余隆担任中央歌剧院首席指挥。同年,他参与创办了中国的新年音乐会系列,并连续三年担任指挥。1993年起,余隆连续五年为香港市政局指挥歌剧演出。

鉴于余隆在推动当今世界古典音乐事业发展和促进国际间文化交流方面所做的突出贡献,法国政府特别授予余隆“法兰西文学艺术骑士勋章”;2002年,德国万宝龙文化基金会向余隆颁发了年度“万宝龙卓越艺术成就奖”; 2005年,意大利总理贝鲁斯科尼向余隆颁发了“共和国骑士勋章”; 2014年,他获得象征着法国最高荣誉典属体系的荣誉军团骑士勋章;2015年,余隆荣获“全国优秀文学艺术工作者”荣誉称号,并获得由美国大西洋理事会颁发的“全球公民”奖,以及由耶鲁大学音乐学院颁发的“桑福德奖章”;2016年,余隆当选美国艺术与科学院外籍荣誉院士,并于同年被授予德意志联邦共和国十字勋章;2018年,余隆被香港演艺学院授予荣誉博士学位。

A series of outstanding interpretations in both the bel canto and lyric repertoire have established Zhang Liping as one of opera’s leading international sopranos, with engagements at the Royal Opera Covent Garden, The Metropolitan Opera New York, Opéra de Paris, and the China National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA).

She has sung at Covent Garden, the MET Opera, Opera de Paris, Gran Teatro del Liceu Barcelona and Deutsche Oper Berlin, amongst other theatres. She also enthralled audiences around the globe with other significant opera roles such as Violetta (La Traviata), Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Mimi (La Bohème), Tosca (Tosca), Liù (Turandot), Micaela (Carmen), Gilda (Rigoletto) and Leonore (Il Trovatore).

In her native country, Zhang has given many highly acclaimed performances such as the premiere of Chinese original opera Xi Shi, Tosca in the first NCPA Opera Festival and La Traviata conducted by Lorin Maazel. In 2010, Zhang was invited by Andrew Lloyd Webber to the premiere of his new musical, Love Never Dies in London. She was then invited to record the Chinese version of the musical's theme song in the Asian edition released by Polydor Records.

In 2011, Zhang returned to the Met Opera and worked with Plácido Domingo in the performance of Madama Butterfly. In 2012, Zhang's performance as Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly at Covent Garden was recorded in 3D for transmission in theatres worldwide and for distribution on DVD. The movie was premiered in Europe and America and then was launched in 3D cinemas all over the world. In 2014, Zhang Liping signs an exclusive contract with Universal Music. As the label's first Chinese classical singer, she has released a Schubert lieder album Night and Dreams under Decca Classics in October 2014. Then the Decca released her Chinese Arts Songs in 2015, and the DG released her Sempre Libera (Airas from Verdi’s Operas) in 2018.

Zhang is currently a doctorial tutor of the Vocal Opera Department of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.


YUAN Chenye, baritone

ChenYe Yuan won the gold medal at the 10th International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1994, and was a jury member at the 15th Competition in 2015.He has also won first prize at Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition in Finland and was a national winner at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in New York. Chenye Yuan has established himself as one of the leading baritones at National Center for the Performing Arts(NCPA)in Beijing. In 2013, He shared the title role of “Nabucco”with Placido Domingo   in Gilbert Deflo’s new production, conducted by Eugene Cohn. In 2014, he had done the rivival and conducted by Massimo Zanetti. In the same year, he played the title role of “Eugene Onegin”in Alexei Stepanyuk’s production under the baton of Valery Gergiev.in 2015, He played the role of Amonasro in Francesco Micheli’s new production of Aida conducted by Zubin Mehta. Also in 2015, he debuted the role of Carlo Gerard in David Mcvicar’s production of “Andrea Chenier.In 2016, Chenye Yuan sang the role of Wolfram in Pier’Alli’s new production of “Tannhäuser”;Escamillo in Francesca Zambello’s production of “Carmen”and Sergeant Vaskov in “the Dawns Here Are Quiet”.These four operas conducted by Lv Jia. In 2017, he performed the role of Chou Enlai at Houston Grand Opera’s “Nixon in China”, directed by James Robinson and conducted by Robert Spano. The role he has also sung at San Francisco Opera, San Diego Opera, Canadian Opera Company,Vancouver Opera, Opera Colorado,Cincinnati Opera,Chicago Opera Theatre,Opera Theatre of St. Louis and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra in New Zealand . He has performed the title role of “Rigoletto” in nine different productions, among them include:Welsh National Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Minnesota Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Palm Beach Opera, Sacramento Opera, San Antonio Opera, Opera Theatre of St.Louis and NCPA in Beijing.

Other recent engagements include: Michele in “Il Tabarro”and the title role in“Gianni Schicchi”at Opera Carolina; Umeya in Huang Ruo’s“Dr.Sun Yat-Sen”at Santa Fe Opera, Renato in“Un Ballo in Maschera”at Boston Lyric Opera Prince Seikyo in Tun Dun’s “Tea: A Mirror of the Soul” with Vancouver Opera and  Giorgio Germont in “La Traviata”at Xi’An Concert Hall and ShangHai Summer Music Festival.

His concert engagements include:Krzysztof Penderecki’s “Three Chinese songs”with GuangZhou Symphony Orchestra (with the composer conducting) and Carmina Burana; Ye XiaoGang’s “Songs of the earth”with Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Lincoln Certer’s Avery Fisher Hall and Bamberg Symphony in Germany; “Lin An’s seven songs”with Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra at Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, “Des Knaben Wunderhorn”and Carmina Burana with China Philharmonic Orchestral at Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall and Poly Theatre; Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Charles Dutoit and Tian Jing Symphony Orchestra at Tianjing Grand Theatre conducted by Muhai Tang;Hadyn’s “The Creation”with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Neville Marriner; Mahler’s 8th Symphony conducted by Yoel Levi at NCPA; Nixon in China with Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia Festival with Marin Alsop conducting and Verdi Gala Concert conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano also at NCPA.

in 2017-18 season, Chenye Yuan performs as the soloist at the world premiere of Krzysztof Penderecki’s 6th symphony with Guang Zhou Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yu Long in Guang Zhou and at Beijing Music Festival, which marks the orchestra’s 60th season opening . He also plays the title role of “Manas” with the Central Opera House in its world premiere in Beijing. Later on, he performs at the opening concert of “Russian Cultural Year in China” with Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Vladimir Fedoseyev.Subsequently, he plays sergeant Vaskov again in the revival of “the Dawns Here Are Quiet”at NCPA; He also plays the role of Wen Tianxiang in the world premiere of “Marco Polo” which presented by GuangZhou Opera House in Beijing.in 2018-19 season, He plays the role of Germont in La Traviata at NCPA conducted by Renato Palumbo,and will sing the role again at Vancouver Opera in 2019-20 season. Chenye Yuan is currently a vocal professor at Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.


Long YU, conductor

Hailed as the “most powerful figure in China’s classical music scene” by The New York Times, the preeminent Chinese conductor Long Yu holds positions as the Music Director of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Artistic Director & Chief Conductor of the China Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. He is also the Principal Guest Conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Maestro Yu is the Founder of the Beijing Music Festival and was its Artistic Director from 1998 to 2018. He is the Co-Director of the MISA Summer Festival in Shanghai.

In the 2019/20 season, alongside his work in China, Maestro Yu makes guest appearances across the globe, including with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Bern Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia, Taiwan Philharmonic and Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Summer 2019 saw Maestro Yu lead the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra on a tour of the USA and Europe, with orchestral debuts at London’s BBC Proms, Edinburgh International Festival, Wolf Trap, and Ravinia Festival in addition to performances at the Lucerne Festival, Grafenegg Festival and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw.

In June 2018, Maestro Yu signed an exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon, which began a global release and distribution partnership. As part of the Deutsche Grammophon’s 120th anniversary celebrations in 2018/19, Maestro Yu conducted a spectacular launch concert in October at the site of Beijing’s historic Imperial Ancestral Temple at the Forbidden City, alongside artists such as Aida Garifullina and Daniil Trifonov.

Maestro Yu has conducted a highly-acclaimed list of orchestras and opera houses throughout the world including the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Washington DC’s National Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Hamburg State Opera, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Maestro Yu continues to collaborate frequently with many of the world’s most celebrated soloists such as Alison Balsom, Sumi Jo, Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Mischa Maisky, Maxim Vengerov and Yuja Wang.

In 2008, the China Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Long Yu became the first Chinese orchestra in history to perform at the Vatican in the Paul VI Auditorium. The concert was attended by Pope Benedict XVI and marked a giant step in bringing eastern and western cultures closer together. In 2014, Maestro Yu and the China Philharmonic became the first Chinese conductor and orchestra to play the fabled BBC Proms series with a televised performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The concert was viewed by millions of people across the United Kingdom.

Leading the development of orchestral landscape in China, Maestro Yu has created the nation’s first orchestral academy as a partnership between Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Conservatory, and the New York Philharmonic. His dynamic vision is focused on introducing China’s growing audiences to key Western repertoire including Wagner’s Ring Cycle, Mahler Cycle, as well as works of Richard Strauss, Benjamin Britten, and many others. In 2014, the New York Philharmonic named Maestro Yu an honorary member of their International Advisory Board. The 12-member Board serves as a network of advocates and ambassadors connecting with individuals and institutions in their home countries to cultivate the Philharmonic’s long-term reach and influence worldwide.

Maestro Yu made his debut with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra in 1993 and in 2003 became Music Director of the orchestra. During his time as Music Director, Maestro Yu has embarked on European and Egyptian tours with the orchestra, performing at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Conservatoire de Luxembourg, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Cairo Opera House.

Born in 1964 into a musical family in Shanghai, Maestro Yu received his early musical education from his grandfather Ding Shande, a composer of great renown, and went on to study at the Shanghai Conservatory and the Hochschule der Kunst in Berlin. In 1992, he was appointed Principal Conductor of the Central Opera Theatre in Beijing and served as its conductor for three consecutive years. He created opera productions for The Urban Council of Hong Kong for five successive years.

Maestro Yu is a Chevalier dans L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the recipient of the 2002 Arts Patronage Award of the Montblanc Cultural Foundation. In 2005, the Italian government honored Maestro Yu with the title of L’onorificenza di commendatore. He was awarded France's highest honor of merit by joining la Légion d’Honneur in 2014. The following year, Maestro Yu was awarded the prestigious Global Citizen Award from the Atlantic Council and the Samuel Simons Sanford Award from Yale’s School of Music in America. Most recently, he was elected a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and also awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2018, Long Yu was conferred an Honorary Doctorate from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Long Yu is currently Vice President of the Chinese Musicians Association.
